Alex is proud to hail from the Inner West of Sydney. his parents met when they were both classroom teachers at leichhardt high school, and alex grew up in annandale with his younger brother, nick. they both attended fort street high school, where alex discovered and fell in love with acting. nick, meanwhile, found his passion in music (specifically hip-hop), and has gone on to a very successful career as a rapper - one half of sydney duo horrorshow, he performs under the moniker solo mc, and alex couldn't be any more proud of his little bro.
while in high school, alex was a member of the NSW State Drama Company and performed and toured internationally with the Australian Theatre for Young People. after finishing school (and a year of an arts degree at sydney uni) Alex was accepted into Actors Centre Australia, and trained for 2.5 years full time until graduating in 2007. He has since worked across many mediums - theatre, film, television, video games, web series, street performance and more. In 2014 he was a member of the Poetry In Action ensemble, performing to over 50000 students all around Australia.
other than acting, alex loves to travel, watch quality tv series', look at the stars, play with his dog boston, and talk about himself in the third person.
alex is a proud member of both equity and meaa since 2007.
